Urednik –
… The articles aseembled in this journal offer a glimpse at the depth and scope of the effect of globalization on nation-state security. As such, the editorial board has oragnized these contributions in and around the four basic level of analyses – the individual level; the gorup level; the state level; and the international level; -and has further allowed the authors, from their vantage point and through their expertise, to develop these levels of analysis into a dimensional breakdown stretching from the macro, through the meso, and into the micro. Or, for those with more traditional preferences, that is to say from the strategic, through the opreational, and into the tactical.
Readers are encouraged to approche each of these articles, therefore, with the intention of recognizing either an opportunity to view topics already influencing the course of their natiom or to vogorously engage with them in counter-debate fashion. In either case, the topics presented here are meant to invoke, or provoke, discussion that should lead us to productive follow-up conversations that push the artificial boundaries that we, the editiorial board, have set within the pages of this current chronicle, striving towards the globalization of strategic decision advantage over non-traditional threats and capabilities.
